Federica Picetti was born in Genoa on 19.7.1982.

She graduated from Federico Delpino Classical Lyceum in Chiavari (GE) in took her law degree from Genoa University in 2006 with a thesis in administrative law.

In 2009 she was authorised to practice the profession of law and registered in the Register of Lawyers of Genoa.

She joined Studio Legale Ghibellini in 2006, primarily concerned with civil law and administrative law.

She was a town councillor in Varese Ligure (SP) from 2004 to 2009.
Since 2009 she has been councillor for urban planning and social services in Varese Ligure (SP).

She has attended a number of training programmes concerned with urban planning law and public works contracts, with a special focus on project financing.
